Our Students Need Great Schools
It’s our vision that West Contra Costa will be a place where students find opportunity and success. To achieve that vision, excellent schools are essential. Families, educators, and community leaders must work together to set every child on a pathway to college and career readiness.
At the Chamberlin Family Foundation, we focus our grantmaking on the following areas to help every student in West Contra Costa have access to an excellent education.
TK-12 PUBLIC Schools
The Chamberlin Family Foundation makes grants to schools that serve our community’s highest-need students. When a high-potential school has a a great leader, a bold vision and a viable plan to bring about change, we’re eager to lend our support. Our focus is on lasting, systemic change.
Teachers & Leaders
We’re honored to stand with great educators in West Contra Costa who help students reach their full potential. Our support extends to programs that effectively recruit, develop and retain effective teachers and leaders. We’re also proud to offer direct support to WCCUSD leaders through our Instructional Leadership Community of Practice, and annual Gratitude Grants to West Contra Costa teachers.
The Chamberlin Family Foundation believes real transformation will come from within the community. We support grassroots groups that empower stakeholders, especially parents, to engage and advocate for the excellent schools that all students deserve.
The Chamberlin Family Foundation actively seeks out impactful organizations that are capable of leading change in West Contra Costa. We rely on the community, particularly students, parents and educators, to guide our work. Therefore, please understand that we are not able to respond to unsolicited funding inquiries or proposals.
