Minnie Setty

Chief Program Officer

Minnie is responsible for the Foundation’s grant portfolio, ensuring a focus on strategic investments, and manages the Foundation’s team. She also identifies and prioritizes strategic initiatives that advance the Foundation’s impact. Minnie joins the team with experience in public school leadership and administration, teacher development and organizational strategy.

Minnie has worked for leading education nonprofits, including The New Teacher Center and award-winning Uncommon Schools. Minnie has on-the-ground experience as a co-founder and co-leader of Uncommon Charter High School, a public school serving low-income students in Brooklyn, New York. Under her leadership, Uncommon Charter High School sent 100 percent of graduates to a four-year college, an experience which has cemented her belief that all children – and all schools – can be high achieving. Minnie has also served as a management consultant at Bain & Company.

Minnie received a B.S. in Computer Science with a minor in Economics from Stanford University.
