STANDARDS INSTITUTE Scholarship

This year, Chamberlin Family Foundation will provide a limited number of scholarships to Standards Institute, an immersive and inspirational 5-day learning experience focused on equitable instruction aligned to the Common Core State Standards.

If you are a teacher or administrator at a public school in West Contra Costa, you are eligible to apply for a scholarship to attend Standards Institute in February, 2020. Chamberlin Family Foundation will cover the cost of the scholarship ($2500/participant). Scholarship recipients will be responsible for covering all additional costs associated with attending the Standards Institute.

GRATITUDE GRANTS

Each year, the Chamberlin Family Foundation offers Gratitude Grants for West Contra Costa teachers to fund classroom supplies and resources (e.g. books, materials, and software) or professional development. Each teacher grant can total up to $250.

INFO FOR GRATITUDE GRANT APPLICANTS

+ ELIGIBILITY

You must be a currently employed, full-time West Contra Costa public school classroom teacher in grades TK-12 to be eligible to apply for a Gratitude Grant. Only one application per teacher can be granted each year.

+ PROCESS

Eligible teachers must complete the Google form above to begin the application process. Applicants must use an authorized school email address to apply. The application has two sections. We recommend applicants save any lengthy responses on a separate Word document as a backup to avoid losing responses due to any disruptions midway through the application.

Applicants will receive a confirmation at the email address provided upon submission of the grant application form. We will be reviewing applications on an on-going basis; if you don’t hear a decision from us within 1-2 weeks of submitting your application, please email us at info@cffoundation.net.
